Resetting the Password using the website

The next page will display the option of ‘Forgot Password’ beneath the login section.

Enter the required details- username, email address, and phone number. When done with the security check, tap on the ‘reset password’ option.

You will receive an email address including the link which will help you to recover Instagram Password. For this, you will have to tap on Reset Password.

After following the instructions you will then be directed to your Instagram account.
Resetting the Password using the App

Open the application on your device and click on the ‘Get Help Signing In’ link on the home page.

Enter the information required and then hit on ‘Next’.

Then you can either choose the email option or the SMS option.

If you chose email, you will get a link with the option to reset the password. If you can get an SMS then you can use the code to redeem the Instagram password forgotten.
